Military divers at Tigne Point in 1974

Description

This film shows divers from the Malta Pioneer Corps at Tigne Barracks in 1974.

The instructors are Guardia Marina Elio Deganuto and Pietro Carli. The divers are Denis Darmanin, Carmel Grech, Kenneth Elseworth, Luciano Camilleri, Michael Attard, Patrick Bugeja, Charles Cassar, Vince Mizzi, Nicholas Carabott, Fenech, Mario Bondin and Eleno Mifsud.

The Pioneer Corps was formed in 1973. It’s work is now carried out by the Armed Forces of Malta.
